Wonderroad Redesign

PROJECT

Wonderroad is a music festival held in Indianapolis that is fun for all ages, brings people together, and is committed to giving back to the nature in Indiana. I redesigned the branding for this project, including the wordmark and multiple touchpoints over the course of a semester.

I began my process by exploring the core values of Wonderroad; fun for all ages, bringing people together, and giving back to nature.

Using these values I put together a mood board.

Project Learnings

  • Utilizing sketching and illustrator taught me valuable strategies to logo design and ideation.

  • Using the logo as a graphic element taught me how to apply brand elements in an interesting and engaging format.

  • Creating mood boards focused on every core value and writing out a strategy of how I can apply the values taught me the importance of appealing to an audience.
