01.
Background
At the beginning of this project, we all did preliminary research on websites and apps about how they foster accessibility for people with disabilities.
What we discovered is that there is a severe lack of websites and apps that allow ease of use with a disability.

Research
/ Creative Matrix
After individually researching disabilities, we came together to brainstorm how we could improve a user’s experience based on their disabilities’ needs.
/ Analyzing Target Users
We narrowed down our focus disabilities to include two user personas, one an elder needing wheelchair accessibility, and another who has visual impairment.

Design
We each individually sketched out what we thought the task flows should be, then combined our sketches with what we considered to be the best user experience.

/ User Testing Insights
In order to test the usability of the app design, we conducted in-class user testing, having one of our group mates act as a screenreader. Here are some takeaways from the testing:
Change the wording of the app to better represent the process for a visually impaired user
Apply a grid system for the seats so that the user can easily find their seat
Work on button size and placement for easily accessible touch targets
