A collection of the IxD work I completed during the two semesters I worked at Crown Equipment. Due to confidentiality some of the images are blurred.

Overview
/ What is Crown Equipment?
Crown Equipment is a global manufacturer of predominately lift trucks.
As an IxD co-op, I worked on the truck side of the interface design, working with the Gena display. This offered a unique experience of evaluating the physical environment as well as the digital environment a lift truck operator experiences.

Tasks

One of my goals entering Crown was to improve on my ability to present my work.
At Crown I had the opportunity to present high-fidelity prototypes I created to both the Director of my team, and the software engineers my team worked with.

/ Learning ProtoPie
I used ProtoPie to create multiple high fidelity Prototypes. Some of the prototypes utilized ‘remotes’ so I could control what a user was seeing. To learn ProtoPie, I took their 101 ProtoPie Crash Course and their Digital Dashboard masterclass.
